The Journey from single woman until you reach your happily ever after, may seem like a long one. It may include a lot of heart ache, pain, embarrassment, and failure, but one day you find that love that makes it all worth while. This a documentation of the beginning of my happily ever after.

A short vacation to my destination
So I have spent waaay too much time online lately trying to figure out if this dream wedding is really possible. I am planning a trip to Disney World in November to try to sit down with someone and try to actually see on paper all the details and options, and actual price of what this will cost me. The only bad thing about this idea is that it will cost a good chunk of change out of what I have saved for the actual wedding. I guess thats a price I will have to pay though.

The First Step is the Hardest
Today I began looking at some of the things I will need to buy for the wedding. Who knew there was sooo much stuff out there. I dont even know where to begin. I guess thats why most people hire planners. I think that my first step, other than saving money (which I have already began), would be to pick out my color scheme. I think I am going to try to have a blue theme, or maybe black and white. Who knows, anyway I guess I have to start somewhere. Maybe I will take a poll to see what people think... I will let you know when the results are in. Is there anyone out there?

The Nightmare...
Today, I have done some research. According to what I have found, my wedding, which consists of a list of 76 guests, will cost me around $30,000.00!! I know, I must be insane, right? Some people might call it insane, others say that I am a girl who knows what I want. I think I have to go with, insane.
Now I know that some people out there might think that $30,000.00 for a wedding isn't so bad, but for someone like me, making minimum wage, raising a child, and barely making ends meet, it definitely is, but my wonderful fiance tells me we can do it. Sometimes it is hard to believe him. Well for now all I can do is continue planning, dreaming and hoping.... One penny at a time.

Destination
Every girl, at some point in their life dreams of their wedding day. The process of getting there, is harder than ever imagined as a little girl. In my life I have had my fair share of relationships. Some good, some not so good, but regardless of how they turned out, they have all led me to where I am today, engaged and beginning the process of planning a wedding.
I have been engaged for 3 years now. I am crazy in love with my fiance, and we have a beautiful little girl together. Though we have been engaged for 3 years, I am still not married, have not set a date, or even begun the planning. We will be paying for our own wedding and money is tight for us in this economy, but I refuse to settle for anything less than my dream wedding in Disney. Though, it may take us another 5 years to afford it, you only get married once (if youre lucky) so why not have it be everything you've ever dreamed of.
Though I am not sure where this trip will take me, I know one thing, my destination.
